I teach children from the age of 8 upwards and have no upper limit on age! I keep lessons engaging, help to build confidence and skills and inspire people, of any age, to love to sing! I aim to empower students to help guide the trajectory of their lessons to ensure they are kept interesting and relevant whilst also expanding their interests.
I am a beginner, can you teach me?
You do not need to be an experienced singer to have lessons! I welcome beginners and am happy to work with all abilities.
Where are you based?
From my home in Kingswood/Speedwell area in East Bristol.
Do you have a DBS?

I have worked as an LSA in schools and colleges, I have previous experience working in residential care and I have delivered movement and music sessions to people with additional needs. I have training in: disability awareness, epilepsy, autism, child protection and safeguarding and I am able to differentiate lessons to support people with additional needs to find joy in singing. I am patient and understanding and can draw upon a wealth of experience supporting those with additional needs. I know basic Makaton and alternative communication techniques and strives to make lessons fun and accessible to anyone with an interest in singing.
Do I need any special equipment?
Not at all, should you wish to work on your microphone technique, I have equipment here for you to use.
Do you offer group lessons?
I offer small groups of no more than 4 people. For this, you often work on specific harmony work as a chamber group and it can be a useful way to learn how to sing in support of other voices. It also builds up good communication and listening skills. Please contact for more information and prices.
